Consent

§      Dance is a physical activity and the teacher may have to assist your child’s understanding of an action, posture or position by physical contact eg. holding hands in a circle, brush hair, dress child in costume.

§      Bebe Ballet is not responsible or liable for loss or damage of personal property.

§      Bebe Ballet will not be held responsible for any injuries but will seek medical help where necessary. Parents/Guardians are required to pay the cost of any medical assistance.

Performance Consent

§      Bebe Ballet will hold its main performances during the first half of term 4. These performances are not compulsory.

§      Carers will need to pay a $30 performance fee per child. The performance fee includes costume hire, new pair of ballet tights, plus staff for rehearsals and performances.

§      Children may be required for additional rehearsal(s) during the school holidays and the week before the performance. Carers are given a minimum of 3 months notice regarding these dates.

§      It will be the carer’s responsibility for hiring the child’s costume(s) and finishing them if necessary, this may include ironing and light stitching.

§      Children cannot eat or drink in costume. Children do not wear their costume in the car, pram or outside rehearsals or performances.

§      Costumes need to be stored correctly (in a garment bag) in between rehearsals and performances and when not in use. Most costumes need to be stored upside down.

§      Children must not wear jewellery, nail polish, tattoos, coloured band-aids or a dummy on stage. Fringes must be pulled back.

§      Carers will be financially responsible for any repairs made due to marks, stains or rips.

§      These performances will be professionally video recorded and children will be photographed during dress rehearsals.

§      The use of recording devices and cameras by audience members are prohibited during the performances.

§      Parents will be required to sign a consent form regarding the performance.
